Saturday afternoon rocks out with live music from two of our Cavern resident artists Jay Murray and The Shakers.
Jay has been playing at the Cavern for many years. He started as a member of The Mersey Beatles playing the part of John and is now firmly established as a regular solo artist. There’s lots of audience participation with Jay and a set list consisting of everything from The Beatles and The Kinks to Led Zeppelin and Adele!
The Shakers are The Cavern’s resident Merseybeat band and one of the finest and most authentic tributes to the ‘golden era’ of the club’s history. Re-live the energy, passion and above all, the great songs from the bands that used to play alongside The Beatles in the early 1960’s. Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Searchers, The Big Three, Billy J Kramer…as well as many of those early Lennon & McCartney Beatle classics.
