18th June marks Sir Pau; McCartney’s 80th birthday and to celebrate we’ve lined up a week of events and activities for you to enjoy and get involved with. We hope you can join us as we say “Happy Birthday Macca”.
‘Pure McCartney’ at The Cavern Club
19th June
Tony Coburn’s acclaimed ‘Pure McCartney’ pays tribute to the legend that is Paul McCartney on his 80th birthday weekend.
Performing on the same stage that played home to Macca in 1999 and 2018, expect Beatles and Wings classics from this fabulous band including Live and Let Die, Get Back and of course Birthday. Sure to be a true ‘Party for Paul’.
Macca Mystery Tour

Our 3-hour special sightseeing coach tour focuses on all things Macca this June.
Visit the places that were influential and instrumental in the early life of Sir Paul including Penny Lane, Woolton Village Church Hall (where Paul met John Lennon for the first time) and a special stop at Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts (LIPA).
Join our knowledgeable and entertaining guides to discover the history and stories behind the Liverpool life of Beatle Paul.
We’ll take you inside the once Liverpool Institute for Boys school (Now LIPA) where Paul and George studied.
LIPA is famed for producing excellence in the world of performing arts and of course having Sir Paul McCartney as its lead patron!
Of course our tour finishes at the world famous Cavern Club where live music will be performed for your entertainment.

LIPA Sixth form showcase.
14th and 15th June
Kicking off a week of Macca Mayhem are young music students from Paul McCartney’s ‘fame school’. LIPA Sixth form students will be showcasing their amazing talent on the Cavern Live Lounge stage.
Following in the footsteps of their Lead Patron Paul, these talented rising stars will be entertaining a Cavern audience as they hone their craft in the music industry. Don’t miss out seeing these stars of the future in the place where it all began for The Fab Four.
