The BlueMargarets are a Beatle band formed in Tokyo in 2008. They are all-Japanese and all-female, however, their focus is “to turn into The Beatles”. Following their appearances at the 2009 and 2010 Beatle week, the band have performed at large-scale festivals in Europe three times, namely Tampere Beatles Happening (Tampere, Finland) in 2011 and 2012, and Une Journee avec les Beatles (Salon de Provence, France) in 2012.
Thereafter having broken up in May 2013, The BlueMargarets have re-formed to return to Liverpool for this year’s Beatle Week.
Here are a few words from each member about their aspirations.
Sam (as John): To cherish the atmosphere of when The Beatles used to play live, we are quite particular about the way we reproduce the costumes and performance. If you are a maniac fan, please check out our obsession to detail.
Moomin (as Paul): Our smiles and vivacity are our greatest strengths. We want to perform with energy bursting out from the stage.
Richie (as Ringo): I only joined the band in 2012 so this is my first Beatleweek. I want to thank the curious minded band members for giving me such an experience!
Satomi (as George): We wanted to see everyone’s smiley faces so much that we are coming back! Please come and see how we have grown!
The BlueMargarets are performing “Beatles For Sale” for the Album Years.
