2015 is a very special year for Clube Big Beatles.
This band from Brazil, an inductee in the International Beatle Week Hall of Fame since 2008, celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The lads are appearing in Liverpool for the twenty-first consecutive year, and this time they’ll be paying a special tribute to Sir Paul McCartney.
All Clube Big Beatles shows during International Beatle Week 2015 will exclusively feature songs by James Paul McCartney, one of the greatest composers of all time, including songs written during the Beatles era and during his resoundingly successful solo career.
This is for one very simple reason: the Clube Big Beatles band members had the honour and pleasure of being received personally by Paul McCartney.
They chatted about the city of Liverpool, International Beatle Week and The Beatles, and even had a quick play with a “casaca”, a typical Brazilian folklore percussion instrument.
This took place in Vitória, Brasil – the birth city of Clube Big Beatles.
By the way, these Brazilians have also received the late Tony Sheridan and the emblematic Pete Best in their city – Tony and Pete travelled to Brazil exclusively to play alongside Clube Big Beatles.
More recently, it was the turn of Paul McCartney to bring his Out There tour to Vitória.
With this in mind, the Brazilians of Clube Big Beatles could not do it any differently: all the songs at their shows will be from the many genial phases of the great composer Paul McCartney!

Remember what International Beatle Week Director Bill Heckle says: no two shows by Clube Big Beatles are the same. The next one is always different to the last one!
– Clube Big Beatles will play the Cavern Club on Friday (28th August), at 8pm. This will be show number 56 for the Brazilians in the world’s most famous nightclub.
– They will take to the stage at the Cavern once again on the following day, Saturday (29th August) at 6pm – their fifty-seventh time playing at the venue where it all started.
– On Sunday (30th August) at 8pm, a show at the Adelphi Ballroom (Beatles Convention) will mark 25 years of Clube Big Beatles.
– The band will play a further two shows on the Monday (31st August) – at 2pm in the Cavern Pub, followed by their first appearance at Mathew Street Live, at 7pm.
