Imagine The Beatles, Led Zep, Johnny Cash and Amy Winehouse channelling their inner George Formby – the Wirral Ukulele Orchestra have! Thirty enthusiasts dedicated to squeezing some seriously goodtime music from this titchy Hawaiian instrument, they have played everywhere from church halls to St George’s Hall.

On Saturday 26th May, the orchestra are doing a charity pub crawl for children’s hospice CLAIRE HOUSE and will be performing at 3pm in the Cavern Pub, and at the world famous Cavern Club at 6.30pm! Come with your mind open and you’ll leave with your mind blown! Check them out!

Claire House (local children’s hospice) is the Cavern’s chosen charity for 2012 – ‘John, Paul, George, Ringo & Clare’
