Here’s some helpful information on public transport to St. Peter’s Church for the recreation of the day John met Paul at the Woolton Garden Fete.

There is limited public parking available in Woolton Village, so anyone planning to spend the afternoon at The Day John Met Paul on Thursday is being encouraged to find alternate ways of getting to the afternoon event.
There are a number of bus routes which run from the city centre to Woolton Village during the day. They include:

Buses run every 10 minutes from Liverpool ONE bus station via Allerton Road and Penny Lane, with a stop in Woolton Village High Street.
The journey time is approximately 36-38 minutes.
No. 76
Every half-an-hour from Liverpool ONE bus station via Allerton Road and Penny Lane and with a stop in Woolton Village High Street.
The journey time is around 40 minutes.
No. 78
The ‘Halewood Circular’ is a half-hourly departure from Halewood Shopping Centre, which calls at Woolton Village, the Picton Clock, London Road and Queen Square bus station in Liverpool City Centre.
The journey time from the city centre to Woolton is around 33-36 minutes.
No. 173
An hourly departure from Great Charlotte Street in Liverpool city centre to Woolton Village, via Ullet Road and Rose Lane.
The last bus from Woolton departs at 5.58pm, and the journey time from the city centre is approximately 55 minutes.
